Our Mission
No child should spend fifteen years believing they are lazy, broken, or stupid before someone finally explains ADHD to them. Neither should their parents.
The Figarella Foundation exists to close that gap — to put clear, honest, evidence-based understanding of ADHD within reach of any family, today, for free, in the language they speak at home.
We believe that understanding is the single most powerful form of help. A child who is told “your brain works differently, and here is how” grows up defending their needs instead of hiding them. A parent who understands stops fighting their child and starts fighting for them.
What we promise
- Free, always. Every article on this site is free to read — no paywall, no advertising.
- Honest, not hype. We follow the standard of an encyclopedia: neutral, factual, grounded in evidence — never a sales pitch, never fear.
- Written for real families. In English, Spanish, and French, because ADHD does not stop at a border or a language.
- Not medical advice. We explain; a qualified professional diagnoses and treats. We are the map, not the doctor.
If this site helps one family understand a little sooner, it has done its job.
